ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the current situation of evidence-based practice competence of masters of nursing specialist at Class Ⅲ hospitals and its influencing factors so as to provide decision-making basis for optimizing the construction and educational management of clinical teaching base for masters of nursing specialist. Methods:From July to October 2021, 141 masters of nursing specialist of Class Ⅲ hospitals in Tianjin were selected as subjects by purposive sampling. All students were investigated with the Chinese version of Evidence Based Practice Evaluation Competence Questionnaire (EBP-COQ) and the Barriers to Research Utilization Scale. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results:Among 141 masters of nursing specialist, the total scores of the EBP-COQ and the Barriers to Research Utilization Scale were 95.35 ± 11.90 and 72.52 ± 26.28 respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of evidence based practice competence of masters of nursing specialist included the results of availability and the awareness of evidence-based nursing ( r = -2.85, -2.41, both P<0.05). Conclusions:Masters of nursing specialist have the intermediate level of evidence-based practice competence and positive attitudes to evidence based practice, but their evidence-based knowledge and skills need to be improved. Clinical teaching base managers should pay attention to the training of evidence-based nursing practice ability of professional nursing master students, provide more supportive resources and environment, and promote the development of specialty nursing practice.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the dimensions of meaning in life(ML) in elderly patients with breast cancer, and offer practical recommendations for holistic nursing in clinical practice. Methods Purposive and convenience sampling techniques from phenomenological methodology were used to and recruit twelve elderly patients (more than 65 years old) with breast cancer in the Third Department of Breast Cancer, Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital from February 2016 to October 2016. A depth interview was conducted for each patient to collect data. Results In breast cancer survivors′perspective,ML including 4 dimensions:focus on the current survival status,self-actualization, social support and participation in individualized treatment. Focus on the current survival status is the basic connotation of ML, self-actualization is the concentrative embodiment of ML, social support is an important path way for grabbing ML, and participation in individualized treatment is an important supplement to realize ML Conclusion The awareness of ML has its own characteristics in elderly patients with breast cancer. Focus on the current survival status, self-actualization, social support and participation in individualized treatment contribute to its main connotation. The truth of getting cancer affects their perceptions to ML. Thus, healthcare providers should pay more attention and take various measures to meet their demands to ML.

ABSTRACT

3D printing is an important technology occurs in 1980s,which has been about more than 30 years since the first 3D printing machine was developed.Currently,it develops rapidly and its application scope has been greatly expanded. Its most prominent features are the "personalized" printing and the diversification of "printing ink".The "personalized" printing can make it possible to tailor the biological materials for each patient, and the diversity of "printing ink" can make the technology meeting different clinical needs.3D printing can be divided into four aspects:l) the collection and formation of inage of printing object;2) the treatment and the transformation of the image information;3) printing based on the data formatted;4) the post-treatment and pedormance evaluating of the printing object. At present, the common methods related to orthopaedics include:1) stereolithography appearance;2) selective laser sintering;3) fused deposition modeling;4) laminated object manufacturing;5) the direct metal melting technology (selective laser melting or electron beam melting);6) the ink jet printing technology.A variety of materials have been used in 3D printers, including the natural medical materials like collagen and chitosan, the synthetic polymers like polylactic acid, polyglycolic acid and peek, the bioactive ceramic materials like hydroxyapatite, the medical metal materials like titanium. The 3D printed material are mainly used in the following seven aspects in orthopaedics:1) the preoperative planning, such as the printing of the lesion and resection model;2) operation navigation make the surgery procedure more accurate;3) making the customized prosthesis and implant;4) implanting the external fixation;5) the development of new surgical instruments meets the special needs of patients;6) making the personalized tissue engineering scaffold used in regenerative medicine;7) the development of drug and its release study.
